Tom and I just put these wood blinds up and we think they look great! They really complement the hardwood floor! Do you think we need curtains to go on the outside of the window? Tom thinks they might take away from the beauty of the wood blinds. Click here to view the curtains I had in mind (note: we would get them in ivory). Tom and I recently noticed a charge of $10 to WLI Reservation Rewards (a monthly fee). After some digging, we learned we had unknowingly signed up a discount service when we made an online purchase. They partner with legitimate companies (such as priceline and Dell), and permission for the service is in fine print. The company refunded our money and canceled the service with no problem, but beware when you make online purchases.

So I got an iPod shuffle as a gift and thought it was about time for me to play around with it and hopefully get it working.  Well, no problem with the music we already have as mp3's (note: most of it's Tom's taste), but what about moving songs from a CD to your iPod?  Yes, I imported the CD and it looks like it's converting to AAC, whatever that means.  When I try moving it to my iPod, though, no dice.  If anyone has instruction, it would surely be appreciated!  I have too many good CD's and I'm too cheap to pay 99 cents on iTunes for a song!!!
